Busy Building Something

I can’t believe it’s been a month since I’ve posted here.  I didn’t realize it was so long.  Let’s see what have I been up to?  Well, looking for a new job, doing some Web consulting for a nonprofit (anyone need a content-management system built for their Web site?) and–most importantly–I’ve been setting up my new business!

Not sure if I ever mentioned, but I used to teach scrapbooking classes.  I did this for a few years and then last year, planning my wedding and setting up house with my husband took up most of my time.  I decided to put the business on hold.

Well, now the itch of teaching has returned and I think my new scrapbooking business perfectly falls in line with my creativity goals that I outlined when I first started this blog.

My new business is being a Close to My Heart consultant.  Close to My Heart (CTMH) offers scrapbooking and stamping products.  They were (I believe) the first company to produce clear, acrylic stamps.  They’ve been producing them for years so you can be assured they are of the best quality.  All of their products–papers, stamps, inks, embellishments–coordinate with each other making scrapbooking and stamping faster, simpler and easier.  If you’re interested in Close to My Heart products, please visit my Web site.

This layout uses CTMH’s Silhouette papers, coordinating My Stickease cardstock stickers (tags, letters), Just Blooms flower and scroll stamp from the Soul Mates Word Puzzle set.  Pretty nice, right?

The other activity that’s been keeping me busy is my new blog, Crop Chic.  Crop Chic is a site devoted to scrapbooking and stamping techniques and projects.  I’ll be posting lots of hip layouts and projects so I hope you’ll check it out and share it with your friends.

Let me know what you’d like to see on Crop Chic.  You can post your comments here or over there.

And, of course, I’ll continue posting here.
